GREENVILLE, Ala. – Dalton State dominated the field and won the 2026 SSAC Women’s Golf Championship by a near-record 53 strokes after shooting 18-over 882 (297, 293, 292) for three-round event. Jia Kataria also ran away with the individual championship, firing seven-under 209 (70, 69, 70) for the title.

The margin is the highest in SSAC Women’s Golf Championship history since 2009 when Berry beat Shorter by 58 strokes in the championship. Since, the previous best was a 35-stroke win by Dalton State in 2018.

Kataria’s seven-under breaks the old SSAC championship record of four-under set in 2021 by William Carey’s Nichakorn Prapsripoom.
